- India’s first CAR-T cell therapy has been developed in coordination with the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay and Tata Memorial Hospital in collaboration with industry partner ImmunoACT.

CAR-T (Chimeric Antigen Receptor T-cell) cell therapy

- Mechanism of action: In this therapy, the patient’s T cells are modified in the laboratory so that they can recognize and destroy cancer cells.
- Uses: It is primarily used in the treatment of blood cancers such as lymphoma and leukemia.
