A three-day national seminar ‘Shalyakon 2025’ is being organized from July 13. This seminar is being hosted by the All India Institute of Ayurveda.
Organizing Shalyacon 2025
On the auspicious occasion of Sushruta Jayanti, All India Institute of Ayurveda (AIIA) is organizing a three-day national seminar ‘Shalyacon 2025’ from 13 to 15 July 2025 in New Delhi. Minister of State for AYUSH Prataprao Jadhav will participate in this program on 14 July. The seminar will conclude on 15 July on the day of Sushruta Jayanti.
Objective of this National Seminar:
‘Shalyacon 2025’ organized by the Department of Surgery aims to provide budding Ayurvedic surgeons with better proficiency and confidence in practicing integrated surgical care. This seminar reflects this commitment by promoting the integration of Ayurvedic principles with surgical advancements.
Main points
- On the first day of the seminar, ten general endoscopic laparoscopic surgeries will be performed.
- On the second day, there will be live surgical procedures of sixteen rectal and anal surgeries, which will provide the participating physicians an opportunity to observe and learn from real-time surgical procedures. There will be live demonstrations of all types of medical cases.
- SurgicalCon 2025 will provide a comprehensive platform to more than 500 eminent scholars, surgeons, researchers and academicians from India and abroad.
- There will also be more than 200 oral and poster presentations on the last day of the seminar.
